2,4-D Amine Herbicide

2,4-D Amine is a water-soluble formulation of the herbicide 2,4-D, which is widely used to control broadleaf weeds in agriculture, lawns, turf, and non-crop areas.

Unlike the ester formulations like LV6, the amine salt version of 2,4-D is less volatile, reducing the risk of herbicide drift and vapor damage to nearby crops, making it a safer choice in certain environmental conditions.

The amine formulation is generally considered less potent than the ester version in penetrating waxy leaf surfaces, but it is still highly effective at controlling a wide range of broadleaf weeds, especially in cooler conditions. Like other forms of 2,4-D, it mimics plant growth hormones, leading to uncontrolled and abnormal growth, which eventually kills the weeds
